Private Label

Private-label production for customers

VIN-KON S.A. offers comprehensive production of beverages, lemonades, juices, beetroot soups and other liquid products under the private labels of our clients. We cooperate with trading companies, distributors, retail chains, importers, brand owners, food manufacturers, restaurateurs and entities that want to create their own product line without having to invest in their own production facility.

Our role is not limited to production alone. VIN-KON S.A. supports the client at every stage of product development: from the concept, through the selection of the recipe, technology, packaging and label, to the finished product ready for sale. Thanks to our experience, technological facilities and specialized staff, we can be a stable production partner for the contractor, helping to transform an idea into a finished market product.

Private label cooperation

As part of private label and contract manufacturing cooperation, we can prepare, among other things, fruit beverages, lemonades, juices, nectars, red beetroot soups and vegetable products. We produce them using fruits, juices, concentrates and natural flavor components. These may be sweet, semi-sweet, semi-dry, dry, dessert, seasonal or flavored products, or products prepared according to the client’s individual concept. We also offer the production of beverages in classic, light, refreshing, sparkling, seasonal or premium variants. We create carbonated and non-carbonated products, lemonades, flavored beverages, children’s products, functional beverages and modern compositions based on juices, extracts, herbs, spices and natural flavors. We also offer red beetroot soups, vegetable beverages and products based on red beets and other vegetable raw materials, intended for retail, catering, seasonal sales or wholesale distribution.

Cooperation with VIN-KON S.A. can begin at various stages. The client may come to us with a ready-made idea, a ready-made recipe, an existing brand or merely a general product concept. In each case, we help select the appropriate technological, raw material, packaging and production solution. The first stage is an analysis of the client’s needs. We determine what product is to be introduced to the market, what taste and character it should have, its target group, quality level, price segment, planned sales channel, type of packaging, capacity, label style, production batch size and expected completion date. At this stage, it is important to understand whether the product is to be economical, mass-market, premium, regional, ecological, seasonal, intended for catering, for export or prepared for a specific retail chain or distributor.

Once the requirements have been established, we prepare a recipe proposal or analyze the recipe supplied by the client. Our technologists select the appropriate raw materials and parameters, as well as the level of sweetness, acidity, color, aroma, extract, juice content, carbonation, product stability and other characteristics affecting the quality and shelf life of the product. We also take into account requirements concerning sensory characteristics, tax and excise markings, and compliance with applicable regulations. In the case of juices, lemonades, beverages and beetroot soups, we pay particular attention to natural flavor, color stability, freshness of aroma, microbiological safety and the consistency of each batch.

Once the general concept has been approved, we can prepare product samples. This is a very important stage, as it allows the client to evaluate the taste, color, aroma, consistency, level of sweetness, acidity and overall character of the product. The recipe can be refined based on the client’s feedback. We can change the flavor intensity, sugar level, aroma, color, acidity, carbonation and fruit, herbal, spicy, dessert or refreshing character. The goal is to create a product that meets the client’s expectations, is attractive to the end consumer and can also be produced consistently and reliably.

At the same time, we determine the packaging and labeling details. VIN-KON S.A. can support the contractor in selecting the bottle, closure, capacity, label, carton, multipack and outer packaging. The client may provide their own label design or use our support in preparing the graphic concept. At the label stage, it is particularly important that the design is not only visually appealing, but also complies with legal requirements concerning food labeling. The label should contain all necessary information, such as the product name, ingredients, capacity, details of the manufacturer or responsible entity, batch number, best-before date or use-by date, nutritional information, allergens and other markings required for the given type of product.

Once the recipe, packaging, label and commercial terms have been approved, we proceed with production. The process is carried out with quality control at every stage: from the receipt of raw materials, through the preparation of the blend or batch, mixing, filtration, stabilization, pasteurization or other technological processes, to filling, labeling and packaging. Consistency is particularly important in private label production. The client expects each subsequent batch to have the same taste, color, aroma and quality. Therefore, at VIN-KON S.A., we ensure appropriate technological parameters, laboratory control and production documentation.

Quality is one of the most important elements of cooperation. Every product should be safe, stable and compliant with the agreed parameters. We control raw materials, semi-finished products and the finished product. Among other things, taste, smell, colour, clarity, extract, acidity, sugar level, packaging tightness, labelling accuracy and compliance of the product with the adopted specification may be checked. As a result, the customer receives a product ready for sale, prepared in accordance with technological, quality and commercial requirements.

Finished products are packaged in accordance with the arrangements made with the customer. These may be cartons, shrink-wrapped packs, pallets, multipacks or other solutions adapted to wholesale, retail, food service or export distribution. At this stage, we also agree on logistical matters: collection by the customer, transport arranged by the customer, delivery to a warehouse, retail chain, distributor or designated logistics centre.

An important element of cooperation is the price offer. We price each private-label production project individually. This is because the final product price depends on many factors: the type of product, the recipe, the raw materials used, the packaging capacity, the type of bottle or other packaging, the label, the closure, the size of the production batch, the complexity of the technological process, quality requirements, packaging costs and logistics. The aim of VIN-KON S.A. is to prepare a calculation that is economically justified both for the customer and for our company. The product must be attractively priced for the market, but at the same time it should ensure appropriate quality, safety, production repeatability and profitability of the entire undertaking.

In practice, this means that already at the initial stage of cooperation we analyse the cost of raw materials, the cost of primary packaging, the cost of labels and auxiliary materials, the cost of production and filling, the cost of quality control, the cost of secondary packaging, the cost of storage and preparation for shipment, the minimum production batch size, the customer’s expected selling price, the customer’s potential margin and the profitability of production for VIN-KON S.A. As a result, the customer receives not only information about how much the production of one bottle or one batch will cost, but can also assess whether the product makes commercial sense.

After receiving the basic assumptions, we prepare a preliminary cost calculation. It may include the cost of the product in primary packaging, i.e. the estimated cost of producing one bottle, can, carton or other sales unit, as well as the cost of the entire production batch, i.e. the order value for a specified number of units, for example 3,000, 5,000, 10,000, 20,000 or more. We can also prepare several pricing options. The economical option is based on a simpler recipe, standard packaging and a lower unit cost. The standard option combines good quality, an attractive price and the possibility of broad sales. The premium option assumes better raw materials, a more refined recipe, elegant packaging and a higher market price.

For each product, we determine the minimum economically viable production batch, that is, the minimum quantity at which production is technologically and economically justified. A batch that is too small may cause the unit cost to be too high both for the customer and for VIN-KON S.A. The larger the production batch, the easier it is to spread the costs of preparation, start-up, labels, packaging and production organization over a larger number of units. Therefore, with larger and recurring orders, the unit price may be more favorable.

For transparency in cooperation, the calculation may include individual cost elements such as raw materials, packaging, labels, production, quality control, packing, logistics and production margin. Raw materials include, among others, juices, concentrates, sugar, flavorings, spices and technological additives. Packaging includes the bottle, cap, capsule, cork, carton or shrink wrap. The label includes design, printing and application. Production includes product preparation, filtration, pasteurization and filling. Quality control includes testing, parameter evaluation and batch inspection. Packing includes outer packaging, palletization and transport protection. Logistics includes preparation for collection or shipment. The production margin ensures the profitability necessary for VIN-KON S.A. to provide the service.

This model allows the customer to understand what the final product price consists of. At the same time, it provides the opportunity to optimize costs, for example by changing the type of packaging, simplifying the label, increasing the production batch or choosing a different recipe. Private-label production can be highly beneficial for the customer, as it allows them to enter the market with their own product without having to invest in a plant, machinery, a laboratory, filling lines, technologists and production facilities. The customer bears the cost of ordering a finished product but avoids substantial capital expenditure. This allows them to focus on sales, marketing, distribution and building their own brand.

A well-prepared calculation should enable the customer to determine the purchase price of the product from VIN-KON S.A., the selling price to a wholesaler, store, food service outlet or retail chain, their own trade margin, the expected profit per unit, the profitability of the entire batch and the potential for further scaling of sales. In this way, the customer sees not only the product but the entire business model.

It is equally important that every project be profitable for VIN-KON S.A. Contract manufacturing requires the involvement of people, machinery, raw materials, packaging, a laboratory, warehouse space, technological time and responsibility for the quality of the finished product. Therefore, each calculation must include the actual production costs and an appropriate production margin. This makes it possible to maintain high quality, timeliness, stable cooperation and the safety of the entire process. We do not aim to produce at any cost. We strive for a cooperation model in which the customer receives a competitive and properly priced product, while VIN-KON S.A. can carry out production professionally, reliably and profitably.

Depending on the project, we can offer various pricing cooperation models. Production according to a VIN-KON S.A. recipe is the simplest and often the most cost-effective model, as the customer benefits from our experience, ready-made technological solutions and proven recipes, which can be adapted to their brand. Production according to the customer’s recipe means that the customer provides their own recipe, and we analyze the possibility of implementing it, ensuring its stability and producing it on a larger scale. The quotation then depends on the complexity of the recipe and the technological requirements. Developing a new product from scratch is the most comprehensive model and includes creating a recipe, technological trials, testing, selecting packaging and preparing the product for mass production. In this case, the project preparation cost may be charged separately or included in a larger production order. One-off batch production is also possible, suitable for seasonal, promotional, test or short-run projects, as well as regular recurring production, which is the most beneficial model for both parties. With regular orders, it is easier to plan raw materials, packaging, production capacity and logistics, which may have a positive impact on the unit price.

To prepare a realistic price offer, we need basic information from the customer: what product they want to manufacture, what the packaging capacity should be, how many units they want to order, whether they have their own recipe, whether they have a label design, what product segment it should belong to, what the expected completion date is, where the product will be sold, whether the product is to be alcoholic or non-alcoholic, whether special certificates, tests or documents are required, and whether the customer expects assistance with the label, packaging and recipe. Based on this information, VIN-KON S.A. prepares an individual calculation and proposes the next steps.

VIN-KON S.A. offers its business partners a flexible cooperation model. We can be the manufacturer of a finished product under the customer’s brand, a technological partner, the producer of a specified recipe or a co-creator of the entire product concept. We offer recipe development or refinement, raw material selection, sample preparation, trial production, mass production, filling, labeling, packing, quality control, support with product labeling and preparation of the product for sale. Thanks to our production experience, we can create both classic and modern, seasonal, regional, functional or premium products. Our goal is to deliver a product that looks and tastes good, is safe, stable, consistent and tailored to market expectations.

Private-label production at VIN-KON S.A. is a comprehensive service for entities that want to have their own products. We provide support from the initial idea to the finished product. We offer technological expertise, production experience, flexibility and a reliable approach to every stage of cooperation. VIN-KON S.A. is a partner for companies that want to build their own food and beverage brands based on proven production, high quality, professional technological facilities and a reasonable business model that is profitable for both parties.
